Body Composition Measurements and Goals – 2

Use this form to document current body composition, set targets, and track progress. Use skin-calipers or a body composition monitor (or any other acceptable method) to determine body-fat percentage. The green cells are entry cells, and the white cells are calculated. Enter weight and BF %. Body fat pounds and lean-mass percentage will be calculated. Lean-mass % is the reciprocal of body-fat %, and includes everything that is not fat, i.e., bones, organs, etc. Muscle-mass must be measured with a body composition monitor or through one of several more sophisticated techniques, usually requiring a visit to a lab.
